PSYCHOTHERAPIST
Dorota Mularz
I am a psychologist and psychotherapist; I work in the humanistic-experiential approach individually with adults and young people from the age of 16.
I offer my help in the field of psychotherapy to people experiencing difficulties in relationships, emotional crises, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem or mood swings; I support in coping with stress, mourning and in the psychological integration of traumatic experiences from the past.
I also work with people who want to better understand themselves and their own experiences and manage their lives more fully.
The foundation of my work is to create a safe space and build an authentic relationship in which you can get closer to difficult experiences and experience the emotions that accompany them in an atmosphere of acceptance.
In my work, the client tends to see their deeper hidden needs, which allow them to experience themselves and reality more fully and be happier.
I work in a humanistic approach, using experienced-based therapy, EFT-focused therapy and focusing (working with the body experience). My work is subject to constant supervision.
I graduated from Applied Psychology at the Jagiellonian University and the 4-year School of Psychotherapy at the INTRA Psychological Assistance and Education Centre; I also graduated from the Baza School of Trainers, Social Reintegration School and training in the field of Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT – 1 st degree), focusing (meeting with an internal critic), work with ego states and psychotherapeutic work with young people.
I gained my professional experience by cooperating with the Association for the Development of Psychiatry and Community Care in Krakow, at the Psychiatric Day Ward of the Nowowiejski Hospital and as a co-therapist in psychotherapeutic group for adults suffering from neuroses.
I have been cooperating for 8 years with the Epsilon Association and the Centre for Education and Prevention, conducting preventive workshops in school groups; I work with parents and teachers, supporting their educational abilities.
Privately, I like long distance travel; contact with nature and animals, as well as long distance running and kayaking.
