Psychologist specializing in psychotherapy

Justyna Olszewska

I am a psychologist, a graduate of a 5-year psychology program specializing in psychotherapy at the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Warsaw. Currently, I am a psychotherapist undergoing a 4-year training at the Center for Psychological Assistance and Education – INTRA (the training is endorsed by the Polish Psychological Society).

I work with clients based on a humanistic-experiential approach, also incorporating elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy.

Empathy and acceptance are the main principles guiding me during my interactions with others. “Our deepest emotions, respect, and love for ourselves, as well as knowledge about ourselves, are revealed in the presence of someone who fully accepts us.”

I gained professional experience working at institutions such as the Warsaw Society for Assistance and Care of the Mentally and Nervously Ill, a private psychological-psychotherapeutic clinic, and during my student internships at the Academic Psychotherapy Center of the University of Warsaw.

I offer psychological assistance and individual therapy to adults struggling with:

  • Mood disorders,
  • Anxiety,
  • Relationship difficulties,
  • Coping with emotions,
  • Past emotional traumas,
  • Life crises,
  • Excessive stress,
  • Excessive self-criticism, low self-esteem.

I undergo regular supervision for my work. I am a member of the Polish Society of Integrative Experiential Psychotherapy and Social Education INTRA.
