PSYCHIATRIST
PSYCHIATRIST
Andrzej Pilarczyk
The decision to make an appointment with a psychiatrist can be a difficult one – often accompanied by uncertainty, doubt or even fear. If you are just considering such a consultation, I want to assure you that you have come to a place where you can count on complete understanding, respect and professional help.
I am a specialist psychiatrist, and I gained my knowledge at the Medical University of Lodz and during my specialization, which I completed in 2023 at the Second Psychiatric Clinic of the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology in Warsaw.
I gained experience working in renowned psychiatric wards at the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology in Warsaw, such as the F7 Affective Disorders Unit, F4 Psychogeriatric Unit, Neurosis and Alcoholism Disorders Clinic, Abstinence Syndrome Treatment Unit and Addiction Therapy Unit.
For more than two years I have been working in the Clinical Department of Psychiatry at Wolski Hospital, where I have daily contact with patients of different ages and with a wide variety of mental health problems. This experience allows me to combine extensive clinical practice with the latest scientific advances in psychiatry, tailoring treatment methods to the individual needs of each person.
I know that talking about your well-being, emotions or difficulties is not always easy. That’s why in my work I focus on openness, empathy and attentiveness. My patients appreciate me for an atmosphere full of kindness and trust, and I make sure that every consultation is not only a professional medical meeting, but also a moment when the patient feels listened to, taken care of and understood.
I help people with a variety of difficulties, including:
- Stress reactions, trauma, anxiety disorders (panic attacks, phobias, generalized anxiety),
- depression, bipolar affective disorder,
- schizophrenia, psychotic disorders,
- Obsessive-compulsive disorder (obsessions),
- personality disorders,
- tics, Tourette’s syndrome,
- Neurodevelopmental disorders (ADHD, autism spectrum),
- Behavioral disorders in the elderly (e.g., Alzheimer’s disease),
- pharmacological support for addiction treatment (while involving the patient in therapy).
If you are struggling with difficulties that affect your mood, daily functioning or relationships, I invite you to a consultation. You don’t have to face it alone – together we will find the best solution.
